Meet Dr. Laura Brown, one of Nuvia’s talented restorative dentists at the Denver, CO clinic.
About
When she was younger, Dr. Brown had a lot of dental work done. This early experience with dentists in addition to her interest in helping others is what initially led her to pursue a career as a restorative dentist in Denver. As an undergraduate in Psychology, she joined a pre-dental club and had her interest in dentistry reaffirmed.
During her career as a restorative dentist, she encountered many patients who struggled with their dentures. She quickly saw the benefits of dental implants over dentures and began working with patients to restore their smiles.
She is excited to be part of the Nuvia team in Denver where she can now provide patients with permanent teeth in 24 hours rather than having patients struggle with temporary temporary teeth for what could be 10+ months.
When she isn’t working as a restorative dentist, Dr. Brown is spending time with her husband and two children. Together, they love to ski, camp and hike. She also loves to swim, road trip, and visit the ocean. Her favorite place she’s vacationed is Mexico.
Our doctors are not just experts; they are visionaries in the field of dental implantology. With decades of surgical and restorative experience, and a passion for pioneering research, they are at the forefront of innovation.
Meet Dr. Baxter, a dedicated oral & maxillofacial surgeon at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Salt Lake City, UT and Denver, CO. His journey into oral surgery began during his pre-med undergraduate studies when a guest speaker, who was an oral surgeon, sparked his interest in the field. That moment shaped his career path, leading him to what he does now, providing life-changing smiles and second chances to his patients.
Having been a patient himself, Dr. Baxter understands the importance of a positive experience and is committed to providing just that. His joy in watching the transformative power of a new smile is second only to the happiness he finds in his family life.
When not in the office, Dr. Baxter is a loving dad who enjoys cooking and BBQing, spending time on the water boating, traveling to new places, and loves movies and music.
Before becoming a restorative dentist, Dr. Ford worked as an engineer. However, his passion for dentistry finally took over as he pursued his dental education at University of California in San Francisco.
After completing dental school, he did his residency at the Veterans Hospital in San Francisco and started a private practice shortly after. Now, with his 19 years of experience, Dr. Ford is one of the highly skilled restorative dentists at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Denver, CO.
Before coming to Nuvia, when Dr. Ford did full mouth dental implants, it would take months to deliver a new smile to patients. Not only did patients have to wear temporary teeth for what could be up to 10+ months, they had to return for frequent visits. At Nuvia, the experience is completely different.
Dr. Ford loves that working at Nuvia, he can get patients their permanent teeth in 24 hours.
Patients of Dr. Ford’s can expect to get his full and complete attention while he is working with them. He is committed to helping his patients to feel comfortable and taken care of.
When he isn’t working as a restorative dentist, Dr. Ford loves to be on his bike. As a bicyclist, he participated in bike races for 20 years. Now, he loves to ride for enjoyment and see the sights of beautiful Colorado.
He also loves to garden, enjoy the fruits of his gardening, work on his car, and build things at his home.
