Having loved sketching and art as a kid, Dr. Cho knew he always wanted to work with hands and explore careers with opportunities to be creative. After settling on dentistry, he realized the difference he could make in patients’ lives through oral surgery.

When he isn’t working as an oral surgeon, Dr. Cho loves to spend time with his family. Growing up playing basketball, he enjoys any opportunity to play.

Dr. James was born in Saint Lucia and grew up in South Carolina where he was an athletic and social kid. He has always been interested in art and the medical field. It wasn’t until his senior year of college studying Biology at the University of Georgia that he realized he could pair his love of art and medicine with dentistry. A career in dentistry, and especially as a restorative dentist, would be just the way to mix these two passions. After the University of Georgia, Dr. James attended medical college in Augusta, Georgia.

During his time as a restorative dentistr, Dr. James has enjoyed serving others in other countries who have dental needs but not the means to receive treatment. He has gone on various humanitarian trips to Honduras, Nicaragua, Brazil, and India to do dental work for those in need.

Dr James was drawn towards Nuvia’s innovative process of restoring smiles through dental implants. Prior to Nuvia he had done full mouth restoration dentistry for many years. Dr. Nathaniel Williams: Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon at Nuvia

Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Nathaniel Williams has been dedicated to helping patients achieve beautiful smiles and regain their self-confidence. Now based in Atlanta for over five years, Dr. Williams brings his expertise in oral maxillofacial surgery to the community.

Growing up as the oldest of five siblings, Dr. Williams was always engaged in various sports, including track and field, football, basketball, and baseball. His parents instilled in him a strong work ethic and the importance of a good education. He pursued his passion for biology at Armstrong Atlanta State University in Savannah, where his interest in the medical field blossomed.

Dr. Williams had the opportunity to shadow various doctors in Savannah, which inspired him to attend dental school at the Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. After completing dental school, he pursued a general practice residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Driven to refine his craft further, he went on to complete an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the prestigious Harbor UCLA Medical Center.

Married for over 10 years, Dr. Williams met his wife in college and has been supported by her every step of the way. Together, they have three wonderful children who bring joy to his life. Family is a central aspect of Dr. Williams' life, and he values the opportunity to help other families by improving their smiles.

At the core of Dr. Williams' practice is a deep passion for helping people build self-confidence through their smile. He firmly believes that a smile is the gateway to one's heart and can change lives for the better. Dr. Lorron Tokpa, General Dentist at Nuvia Implant Center, Atlanta

Dr. Lorron Tokpa, affectionately known as "Deputy" by her colleagues and patients, is an accomplished general dentist at the Nuvia Implant Center's Atlanta location. Born and raised in Jamaica, Dr. Tokpa's love for the beach and water sports stems from her childhood spent enjoying the outdoors with her two siblings.

She received her undergraduate at Morgan State University before going on to Penn Dental Medicine for her dental degree. She also completed an Advanced GE residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center prior to practicing as a general dentist.

In July 2022, Dr. Tokpa relocated to Georgia with her family, following her husband's job at Microsoft. She is a proud mother of two children, who keep her on her toes and bring joy to her life. Dr. Tokpa believes that dentistry is a form of functional art and is passionate about building connections with her patients. She feels humbled and privileged to play a part in each patient's journey towards a healthier, more confident smile.
