What You Need to Know About Permanent Teeth in 24 Hours

Spending months in temporary dentures or waiting endlessly for permanent teeth is plain frustrating. And now with permanent teeth in 24 hours in, plain unnecessary. At Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Phoenix, the process to getting your new smile in 24 hours is simple:

Day 1: Dental implants are placed by a skilled oral & maxillofacial surgeon while a CRNA keeps you comfortably sleeping. Your restorative dentist then designs your new, permanent teeth and they are created overnight in Nuvia’s in-house lab.

Day 2: Your permanent, zirconia teeth are put in place. No waiting for what could be up to 10+ months, no temporary dentures, no constant trips to the dentist.

How the All-on-4® Dental Implant Method and Permanent Teeth in 24 Hours Work Together

The All-on-4 dental implant method is widely used to place implants that support a full set of teeth. With traditional approaches, those implants are followed by temporary teeth and a wait that can last 10+ months before getting your final smile.

At Nuvia, that same method is used, but your permanent zirconia teeth are delivered within 24 hours.

So it’s not a different procedure, it’s a different timeline - One that helps you show up for important moments feeling confident, not still in the middle of the process.

How does this compare to dentures?

Dentures slip, require adhesives, frequently limit food choices, and could need replacing every few years. Permanent teeth in 24 hours? They stay in place, feel natural, and are designed to last a lifetime with proper care. You could think of them as permanent dentures made from incredibly strong, zirconia material.

What about cost?

While dentures seem cheaper upfront, they come with ongoing expenses—replacements, relines, adhesives, and adjustments. Dental implants are a one-time investment in a permanent solution, potentially saving money and hassle in the long run. Not to mention, they are the industry standard for replacing missing teeth for a reason!

Consequences of Living with Missing Teeth

You don’t realize how much you rely on your teeth—until they’re gone. Simple things like enjoying a meal, speaking clearly, or smiling confidently suddenly become challenges. And the longer it goes on, the bigger the impact may be.

Bone Loss & Facial Changes

When teeth are missing, the jawbone starts to shrink. This can lead to a sunken, older look that dentures can’t fix.

Eating & Speaking Challenges

Crunchy or chewy foods become difficult, and over time, avoiding tougher to eat foods can lead to poor nutrition and frustration. Many patients also report that their digestion is impacted due to them needing to swallow pieces of food whole.

Loss of Confidence

Many people stop smiling in photos, avoid social situations, or feel self-conscious when talking—all because of missing teeth.

These struggles don’t have to be permanent. Dental implants offer a real, lasting solution—one that is designed to last a lifetime with proper care.

Why Do People Prefer Dental Implants Over Dentures?

Dental implants are fixed in place, so there’s no slipping, no adhesives, and no need to take them in and out. Many patients choose implants over dentures because they want something that feels natural, lets them eat comfortably, and doesn’t require the same ongoing maintenance or replacements that dentures often do.

Dental Implant FAQs in Phoenix, AZ

What are the advantages of All-on-4 dental implants?

All-on-4 dental implants are built to make the most of the bone you already have, so many patients don’t need extra procedures like bone grafting. They’re fixed in place (not removable), feel very close to natural teeth, and once you’re healed, you can get back to eating the foods you love without having to worry about your teeth.

How do I care for my dental implants after surgery?

It mostly comes down to following the instructions your care team gives you. Keep things clean, stick to the guidelines they walk you through, and you’ll be set up for a smooth recovery.

What factors influence the success of dental implants?

A big one is who you go to—working with a team that does this every day makes a difference. After that, it’s really about following your aftercare and keeping up with basic oral hygiene.

Are there any dietary restrictions after getting full mouth dental implants?

At first, yes—you’ll be on softer foods for a few months and want to avoid really hot drinks early on while things heal. Once your provider gives you the go-ahead, you’ll be able to eat whatever you want again.
