Dental Implants in Portland, OR - Get Permanent Teeth in 24 Hours
View LocationMeet Dr. Joseph Youssef, Nuvia’s highly-skilled oral & maxillofacial surgeons in the Portland office.
About
Dr. Youssef’s desire to become a dentist began in the 5th grade. He attended dental school at UC San Francisco. It was during this time that he realized he was passionate about oral surgery.
He did an internship at Montefiore Medical Center in New York where he discovered the satisfaction that came from helping people get their teeth back, especially after years of struggling with them.
Now as an oral surgeon in Portland, he gets to do what he loves every day.
Dr. Youssef had extensive experience with dental implants during his residency. Having seen how the traditional process leaves patients wearing temporary teeth for what may be 10+ months, he was eager to be part of Nuvia’s process where patients were getting their permanent teeth in 24 hours.
When he isn’t working, Dr. Youssef loves watching and playing basketball. His favorite place to play is by the beach, either with friends or solo.

Dr. Fransiskus Andrianto earned his dental degree both in his home country of Indonesia and in the United States. A proud alumnus of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, he has been practicing dentistry for nearly two decades.
As a restorative dentist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Portland, Dr. Andrianto describes the Nuvia process as “game-changing”. Rather than waiting for months in a temporary set of teeth that’s prone to breaking, patients get their permanent set 24 hours after their dental implants are placed.
After decades in the field, Dr. Andrianto loves that he can now offer patients a truly unique experience with permanent teeth in 24 hours.
Dr. Andrianto loves to travel and especially enjoys exploring new cuisines. Originally from Indonesia, his favorite foods are often Asian or Indonesian dishes. He also enjoys spending time in nature, getting fresh air, and going on the occasional hike.

Before discovering his passion for oral surgery, Dr. Prashant Cherugundla began his career working in toxicology with an environmental protection agency. Over time, he realized he wanted to have a more direct and meaningful impact on people’s lives. That realization led him to pursue dentistry and eventually oral surgery.
Today, he finds it incredibly rewarding to play a role in life-changing transformations—at Nuvia in Portland, all it takes is a single surgical procedure. Dr. Cherugundla completed his residency at the University of Texas and has been practicing oral surgery for 8 years.
Dr. Cherugundla was drawn to Nuvia in Portland by the opportunity to be part of delivering immediate, life-enhancing results through full mouth restorations. He was especially impressed by Nuvia’s 99.13% dental implant success rate—higher than what’s reported in large studies of other providers.
Outside of work, Dr. Cherugundla enjoys windsurfing, trail running, and spending time outdoors. Lately, he’s taken up canoeing with his 14-month-old daughter and values building strong relationships with the people around him.
