Meet Your Doctors in Fresno

At Nuvia, each patient is provided a team of an oral surgeon, restorative dentist, and CRNA. This way, patients can experience precision and comfort. Full mouth dental implants is a big move forward, work with an expert team you trust.

Dr. Jennifer Jacobson, DDS

Dr. Jennifer Jacobson is a restorative dentist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Fresno, CA. She has worked in dentistry for over 15 years, starting as a dental assistant before going to dental school. She earned her degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine and completed a prosthodontic residency at Stony Brook University. She later taught at Rutgers University.

Dr. Jacobson is passionate about full mouth restoration cases. She works side-by-side with the surgeon to plan each state of each case including bite, tooth shape, and how everything fits together. Her goal is to give patients teeth that function, feel stable and look natural.

Why Nuvia?

Dr. Jacobson chose Nuvia because the team stays focused on the patient. Each case is planned as a group, so nothing gets missed.

She also loves to offer patients permanent teeth in 24 hours. Outside of Nuvia, patients can spend months in temporary teeth that are prone to breaking or needing repairs. At Nuvia, patients get a final set of teeth without waiting for months.

Dr. Jacobson recognizes that many patients are nervous and wants to reassure those that come in that she always takes time to answer questions so patients know what’s happening at each step.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Jacobson enjoys cooking, especially baking sourdough bread. She’s been cooking since she was a kid and likes trying recipes from different cultures. She also skis with her husband and spends time in the mountains when she can.

Dr. Robair Aldayna, DDS

Dr. Robair Aldayna is a restorative dentist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Fresno, CA. He graduated from New York University and has spent over a decade in the dental field..

He chose dentistry because he wanted to work with his hands and spend time directly with patients. He saw early on how changing someone’s smile can affect how they carry themselves day to day, and that’s what pulled him into the field.

Why Nuvia?

Dr. Aldayna chose Nuvia because of the team structure and the type of work being done here. He wanted to focus on full-arch cases and be part of a group that handles everything in one place.

He likes the teeth in 24 hours process because patients don’t have to wait months to finish treatment. They come in one day and leave the next with a full set of permanent teeth. He has seen patients schedule treatment right before major events so they can show up ready to smile.

He also prefers working with zirconia. It’s fixed in place, doesn’t move, and doesn’t need to be taken in and out like dentures.

Outside of the Office

Outside of work, Dr. Aldayna enjoys reading and hiking. He also recently started flying small planes and likes getting up early to watch the sunrise from the air.

Dr. Derek Tow, DMD, MD

Dr. Derek Tow is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Fresno, CA. He trained at the University of Connecticut, where he completed both medical school and a six-year oral surgery residency.

He grew up in the Bay Area and has always loved working with his hands. As a kid, he played guitar and piano and even toured in a metal band. That carried over into his career as he was drawn to dentistry because it let him combine technical skill with hands-on work. He later moved into oral surgery after seeing how much it helped patients in a short amount of time.

Why Nuvia

Dr. Tow chose Nuvia because of how structured everything is for both patients and providers. Working with a team that also includes a restorative dentist and CRNA allows him to provide a great patient experience with extra levels of safety.

He also appreciates being part of the permanent teeth in 24 hours process. Patients don’t wait months to start enjoying their new smile. They get permanent, customized teeth they can use just 24 hours after surgery.

He’s seen how much that matters. One of his first full-arch cases ended with the patient breaking down in tears after getting their new teeth. The whole room felt it.

Outside of the Office

Outside of work, Dr. Tow still plays music when he can. He spent years in a touring band and still enjoys picking up the guitar.

Across Fresno, Clovis, Madera, Sanger, and surrounding Central Valley communities, more people are choosing a permanent solution with full mouth dental implants.

At Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Fresno, your entire treatment happens in one place—from surgery and anesthesia to smile design and delivery of your final zirconia teeth. There’s no traveling between offices and no spending months in temporary teeth while you wait.

Here’s how the Fresno team can help:

  • Full Mouth Dental Implants – Replace an entire upper or lower arch with secure, fixed teeth designed to look natural and function like your own. Unlike traditional dentures, these teeth don’t slip or come out.
  • All-on-4® Dental Implants – The common method of providing full mouth dental implants using four to six implants to support a full arch of teeth. Even patients who have experienced bone loss may still qualify for this approach.
  • Zygomatic Dental Implants – For patients with more advanced bone loss, this specialized technique anchors implants in stronger bone to restore stability and support.
  • Permanent Zirconia Teeth in 24 Hours – Instead of wearing temporary plastic teeth for months, receive your final, custom zirconia teeth just one day after surgery.

If you’re tired of short-term fixes, repeated dental bills for procedures that don’t work, and planning your life around your teeth, take the 60-second quiz to find out if you may qualify for permanent teeth in 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Why might I need full‑mouth dental implants?

Full‑mouth implants are recommended when multiple teeth are missing or severely damaged and traditional dentures aren’t providing the stability or function you need. Replacing all your teeth this way is designed to improve chewing and speaking, support proper nutrition, and, as many patients report, help them feel more confident smiling and eating again.

Who is a candidate for full‑mouth implants?

Candidates typically include people with severe tooth loss, failing teeth or dentures that feel uncomfortable. Even if you’ve been told you have bone loss, modern techniques can often still make implants possible; surgeons can place implants successfully even when bone levels are low.

How long does the full‑mouth implant procedure take?

From the procedure itself to getting your final set of teeth, it only takes 24 hours at Nuvia. Other providers who use traditional methods may take upwards of 10+ months before getting you your permanent set of teeth.

What are the risks or complications?

After full-mouth dental implant surgery, it’s normal to have some soreness and  swelling for a few days. Serious complications are uncommon, especially when treatment is carefully planned and post-op instructions are followed. Choosing an experienced provider helps ensure a smooth recovery.
