Dr. Mascarenhas is the restorative dentist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Parsippany, New Jersey.

With over 14 years of professional education and a lifelong passion for prosthodontics, he has dedicated his career to helping patients achieve beautiful, functional smiles. Ever since his first day in dental school, Dr. Mascarenhas knew that prosthodontics was his calling.

He’s passionate about not only creating smiles that look great but work perfectly, so patients can eat, speak, and feel their best. Dr. Mascarenhas finds great joy in helping patients transform their lives with new, permanent teeth in 24 hours.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Mascarenhas is an avid stamp collector. This passion was sparked by his aunt when he was young, who introduced him to stamps from different countries. 

‍

Dr. Mascarenhas also loves traveling, where he enjoys exploring cultures and landscapes.

Dr. Camron Fakhar is a dual-degree, Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida with a degree in Neuroscience, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors). He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and Medical Degree (M.D.) at the prestigious institutions of UCLA and the University of Pennsylvania.

Additionally, he completed residency training in General Surgery, which included rotations in Plastic Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Neurosurgery, Critical Care as well as PGY-1 Level General Anesthesia and Pediatric Anesthesia training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He subsequently completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the same institution, serving as Chief Resident.

Dr. Fakhar’s surgical training was focused on the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including corrective jaw surgery, Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery, Complex facial trauma/reconstructions as well as adjunctive facial procedures including Botox® and Facial fillers. Heavy emphasis was placed on Dental implants, Complex bone grafting as well as Dentoalveolar surgery and General anesthesia.

In addition to being a key member of the team at Nuvia, Dr. Fakhar has always been involved in his community locally and abroad. His passion for global outreach has led him to participate in dental and medical programs in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Vietnam, where he volunteers his time performing general oral surgery procedures, pathology, and cleft lip and cleft palate reconstructive surgeries on children at an eminent hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.

Dr. Fakhar has been an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and his local state societies. He was past President of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity and the International Association for Dental Research (IADR). He has had the opportunity to lecture and present around the country and has multiple publications in many topics in the field of surgery, medicine and dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, hiking, running races and discovering new golf courses to play.

Dr. David Kim is a restorative dentist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Parsippany, New Jersey. From an early age, Dr. Kim was driven by a desire to help others, which led him to pursue dentistry.

During an internship, he witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact dental care can have on patients. This inspired him to complete a training in prosthodontics, focusing on providing patients with smiles that are not only beautiful but also functional.

At Nuvia, Dr. Kim is dedicated to helping patients restore their ability to eat, smile, and enjoy life with their families.

Outside of work, Dr. Kim loves spending time with his family, especially playing with his one-year-old daughter. As a sports fan, he enjoys watching football, basketball, and baseball, cheering on his favorite Philadelphia teams. He and his family also love exploring new cuisines, often trying different Korean, Japanese, and other international dishes.
