Meet Dr. Rahul Tandon, one of Nuvia’s accomplished oral & maxillofacial surgeons in the Chicago office.

About
Dr. Tandon’s original plan was to be a marine biologist but after some guidance from his parents and the influence of his friends, he found his path in dentistry.
After receiving his undergraduate in mathematics at University of Pittsburgh, he continued to get a dental degree at University of Kentucky. He then pursued his medical degree at University of Texas Southwestern where he completed their oral surgery program.
Dr. Tandon was drawn to Nuvia because of their patient-first approach. He enjoys the camaraderie of his Nuvia team in Chicago and working alongside talented restorative dentists and other oral surgeons.
He loves to play a role in helping others change and better their lives.
Most of Dr. Tandon’s hobbies and free time outside of the office are spent with his wife and four children.
He also enjoys reading presidential and historical biographies, finding them inspirational and intriguing. He feels that everybody has an interesting story and a unique background that makes them who they are.

Our doctors are not just experts; they are visionaries in the field of dental implantology. With decades of surgical and restorative experience, and a passion for pioneering research, they are at the forefront of innovation.
With over 16 years of experience, Dr. Naser is one of Nuvia’s highly skilled restorative dentists serving patients in the Chicagoland area. He earned his dental degree in 2009 from Tripoli University in Libya, followed by a four-year prosthodontics residency at Boston University. While there, he also completed a master’s degree in biomaterials, further deepening his knowledge of advanced restorative techniques and materials.
After years of helping patients regain healthy, confident smiles, Dr. Naser brings his expertise to Nuvia, where he focuses exclusively on full arch dental implant restorations.
Having worked in full arch dentistry for several years, Dr. Naser was drawn to Nuvia’s streamlined and patient-centered approach. He appreciates that Nuvia’s permanent teeth in 24 hours process eliminates the long waiting periods and fragile temporary restorations that often frustrate patients in traditional systems.
For Dr. Naser, seeing patients experience their new smile so quickly — and witnessing their joy and confidence return almost instantly — is deeply rewarding. He describes it as “satisfying for both the patient and the doctor,” because it showcases the results of hard work and teamwork in a single day.
When he’s not restoring smiles, Dr. Naser loves spending time with his wife and three young children. His home life is joyfully busy with a three-and-a-half-year-old, a two-and-a-half-year-old, and a one-and-a-half-year-old. Outside of family time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, playing soccer, and barbecuing — a hobby he’s recently mastered, from smoking brisket to grilling just about everything in between.
Dr. Moghadam always knew he wanted to be involved in the medical field. Inspired and guided by his father who was a dentist, Dr. Moghadam pursued a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery where he loves bridging the gap between medicine and dentistry.
Dr. Moghadam went to dental school at UCLA in Southern California and completed his residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He loves and enjoys the work he gets to do as an oral surgeon in Chicago.
Prior to joining Nuvia’s Chicago team, Dr. Moghadam had quite a bit of experience with full arch cases.
The traditional way of giving patients a new smile usually involves having them wear temporary teeth for up to 10+ months. This doesn’t make for a great patient experience as temporary teeth are prone to breaking and needing to be repaired.
Dr. Moghadam was drawn to Nuvia’s approach to full mouth dental implants and the great outcomes that Nuvia patients were getting.
Not only does get to be involved with giving patients smiles that they love, he loves to see Nuvia patients get their permanent teeth in 24 hours rather than waiting for what could be months.
Nuvia has a patient-obsessed culture. Dr. Moghadam loves that the patients are able to feel that each member of the Nuvia team is there to help and support patients at all times.
Dr. Moghadam loves keeping things lighthearted and enjoys watching and listening to comedy. He enjoys outdoor activities, especially going on runs by the lake.
