While studying for his undergraduate degree Dr. Hajjar would often see volunteer patients leaving the dental school with big smiles on their faces. He quickly discovered that he wanted to be part of something that made people so happy.
Dr. Hajjar attended University of Pennsylvania for dental school and completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.
During his oral surgery residency, Dr. Hajjar met various patients who so badly wanted dental implants so they could finally start living without being held back by their teeth. These experiences are what eventually drew him to Nuvia, where patients are able to get their final set of teeth in 24 hours - a very different experience than what traditional methods can offer.

When he isn’t working, Dr. Hajjar enjoys staying active playing ultimate frisbee every week. He also loves to play guitar and is beginning to learn how to dive, spearfish, and sail.
