About
Dr. Zaid Hikmet
Dr. Zaid Hikmet is the prosthodontist at Nuvia’s Cosmetic Center in West Bloomfield, Michigan. His path in dentistry began in Ohio, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and worked closely with mentors who helped strengthen his skills and confidence.
From there, he spent time practicing in Bradenton and Sarasota, Florida—places he loved for their warm weather. Wanting to take his training even further, Dr. Hikmet completed a three-year prosthodontics residency at the University of Illinois Chicago. He credits his time there, and the mentors who guided him, for shaping the advanced restorative work he does today.

What Dr. Hikmet loves most about working at Nuvia is the chance to design smiles in a way that feels truly personalized.
He believes patients should feel informed and involved every step of the way. At Nuvia, he works closely with the full team to make sure every smile not only looks great but fits the patient’s personality and goals. Helping someone see their new smile before treatment even begins is one of his favorite parts of the process.
Outside of the Clinic
When he’s not helping patients, Dr. Hikmet enjoys traveling with his wife—they’ve explored many cities together and even visited Bora Bora, one of their favorite spots. He also loves biking, whether it’s road biking or mountain trails, because it helps him unwind and stay active.
