I feel like I'm a carpenter at times. I am the interior designer. I come in and I make things beautiful, good, and open. We really are very dependent on our team. The support of your team, whether that's your assistants, your GM, other doctors, or the lab, we wouldn't be able to do what we do without every other piece of the puzzle coming together," she explains.

"It goes back to even ISRs, people at corporate, like, all hires at all levels really come together to deliver this very special quality of life improvement. When everyone's doing their job right and everything is flowing properly, it is really just a fun and exciting dance to be a part of," Dr. Patel adds. "My favorite part about being a restorative doctor is getting to change people's lives. It is a very rewarding feeling, getting through a full day of cases without any hiccups. When they finally get to see themselves as they've wanted to see themselves for so long, that's such a powerful feeling. It's a really cool thing to be a part of."
