Allyson Lorance is the CRNA and anesthesia provider at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Nashville, TN. She earned her nursing degree from the University of Tennessee in 2008 and worked in critical care and pediatric nursing before pursuing anesthesia. She completed her training at the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia in 2014 and has been providing anesthesia to adults and children across the Middle Tennessee area for about 12 years.
After many years at a large medical center, Allyson was drawn to dental anesthesia for the chance to shape her own schedule and stay close to her family. Nuvia gave her that flexibility—paired with a patient experience she was excited to be part of.
Allyson tells patients that it’s completely normal to feel nervous about a new experience—especially one like this. What she wants patients to know is that Nuvia puts real effort and focus into the patient experience and works to go above and beyond to help them feel comfortable.
She’s also proud to be part of Nuvia’s permanent teeth in 24 hours model. The company takes the same care in building its team as it does in caring for its patients, which means the people at every stage of a patient’s visit are chosen with intention. For Allyson, that’s a reassuring thing to be able to hand back to a nervous patient.
Outside of work, Allyson is a busy mom who dives head-first into whatever her kids are into. She coaches basketball, cheers on her kids at their sporting events, and loves making jewelry with them at home. She’s also known to hang out with her mom friends for a game of mahjong, and looks forward to family vacations every summer.
Dr. Gabrielle Goodman is a restorative dentist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Nashville, TN. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at NYU’s Foundry Dental Center.
Dr. Goodman has completed extensive additional training in implantology and full-mouth rehabilitation, including an Advanced Implant Residency Program in Bessemer, AL, the Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Implant Continuum in St. Petersburg, FL, and over 480 continuing education hours focused on full-arch dental implants.
In addition to having placed over 2,000 implant restorations, she is also trained in IV moderate sedation, oral sedation, and nitrous oxide and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Goodman joined Nuvia to be part of a team that prioritizes patient experience and offers patients a truly unique experience. She loves working alongside the surgical team to create permanent, functional, and beautiful smiles— in just 24 hours. Her philosophy is simple: every restoration should look, feel, and function like natural teeth, allowing patients to smile confidently again.
Outside of work, Dr. Goodman enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter. Having grown up in Trinidad and Tobago, she has always loved water sports like wakeboarding and kiteboarding. Now in Nashville, she enjoys exploring local hiking trails and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
