Dr. Frank De Latour is the oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Dentistry has always been part of his life as the son of a longtime dentist, and he saw early on how much a healthy smile can change someone’s confidence and quality of life.

Dr. De Latour earned his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and has been practicing for over ten years. He enjoys combining surgical precision with compassionate care, making patient comfort and safety a top priority.

Dr. Munson completed all of his training at UNC Chapel Hill, spending 14 years there before finishing in 2022. He began his career in private practice, where he gained valuable experience before deciding to expand his exposure to full-arch implant surgery.

While he enjoyed private practice, he wanted to spend more time focused on this type of surgery without sending patients to multiple offices or stretching treatment over many months like traditional approaches may require.

Outside of work, Dr. Munson spends most of his time with his wife and three children. When he finds extra time, he enjoys going to the gym and playing golf. Family time is his priority, and he values keeping life balanced both inside and outside the clinic.
