Before discovering his passion for oral surgery, Dr. Prashant Charugundla began his career working in toxicology with an environmental protection agency. Over time, he realized he wanted to have a more direct and meaningful impact on people’s lives. That realization led him to pursue dentistry and eventually oral surgery.

Today, he finds it incredibly rewarding to play a role in life-changing transformations—at Nuvia in Portland, all it takes is a single surgical procedure. Dr. Charugundla completed his residency at the University of Texas and has been practicing oral surgery for 8 years.

Dr. Jeffery Garcia is one of the talented oral and maxillofacial surgeons at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Fremont, CA. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UCSF Fresno, a hospital-based program where he gained experience in complex surgical procedures and patient care.

Before joining Nuvia, Dr. Garcia owned and operated a private practice in Southern California for eight years. Including residency, he’s been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery for more than twelve years.

Outside of work, Dr. Garcia enjoys spending time outdoors. He loves skiing—both on snow and water—along with hiking, biking, and backpacking. When he’s not out exploring, you’ll likely find him reading by the fire or spending time with his fiancée.

Dr. Eugene Lee is a restorative dentist at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Portland, Oregon. He earned his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completed two years of general practice residency in New York City before pursuing further education in prosthodontics in Los Angeles.

With nearly a decade of dental experience, Dr. Lee has spent his career restoring smiles and helping patients regain both function and confidence.
