Meet Dr. Tutor, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Nuvia in Pittsburgh
About
Prior to becoming an OMS, Dr. Tutor did a lot of carpentry. This hobby is what led him to look for a career where he could use creativity and work with his hands.
After attending dental school at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Tutor spent a year in private practice before a year-long internship at Parkland Hospital and the rest of his oral & maxillofacial residency at Allegheny General Hospital.
Now, he helps patients restore their smiles everyday at Nuvia.
Dr. Tutor loves that he works with a CRNA so he can focus fully on the All-on-4® procedure. When Dr. Tutor learned that he would be able to help patients get back their oral health with permanent teeth in 24 hours, he knew he wanted to be part of the Nuvia team in Pittsburgh.
When he isn’t working as an oral surgeon, Dr. Tutor loves to golf, deer hunt, and go fishing.

Our doctors are not just experts; they are visionaries in the field of dental implantology. With decades of surgical and restorative experience, and a passion for pioneering research, they are at the forefront of innovation.
From a young age, Dr. Joseph Cornatzer knew he wanted a career centered around helping others. That calling led him to dentistry, where he discovered a true passion for restoring smiles and helping patients feel better—often in just a single visit.
Dr. Cornatzer earned his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, followed by three years of service in the U.S. Air Force.
After his service in the Air Force, Dr. Cornatzer spent two decades as a restorative dentist in private practice, where he helped many patients restore their smiles with full mouth dental implants. With a love of this procedure, Dr. Cornatzer is now a key member of the Nuvia team in Pittsburgh.
Having seen firsthand the frustration patients face with temporary dentures—cracking, breaking, and repeated visits—Dr. Cornatzer was drawn to Nuvia’s approach. At Nuvia, his patients skip the setbacks of temporary teeth and leave with their permanent teeth just 24 hours after surgery.
When he’s not with patients, Dr. Cornatzer enjoys jet skiing, spending time at the beach, and hanging out with his family. He’s also a proud dog dad to Maverick and Nova and recently discovered a love for go-karting.
Dr. Chiani first got her passion for dentistry through a close relative working in pediatric dentistry.
As she got more involved in her studies she chose to pursue a career as a prosthodontist and has since found incredible fulfillment in helping patients get their smiles back.
Dr. Chiani has been working in dentistry for 30 years. Her education includes an undergraduate degree in science and a total of 4 years of residency after graduating from dental school. Since then she has been practicing as a restorative dentist and is now working with the team at Nuvia’s Pittsburgh, PA center.
She has always loved helping patients with full mouth dental implants.
Although this procedure is incredibly life changing for patients, she recognized the struggles patients had waiting for what could be months while their final teeth were being created. Working at Nuvia and being able to provide permanent teeth in 24 hours completely transferred patient’s experiences with dental implants.
Dr Chiani’s patients can trust that they are in excellent hands. She is committed to ensuring that patients' wishes, concerns, and needs are heard and that they receive great care.
