Dr. Nicholas Keefer is a restorative doctor at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Indianapolis, IN. His journey into dentistry began as a child, when frequent visits to the orthodontist and dentist planted seeds of interest in the field.

Later, his passion for both science and engineering led him to dentistry, where he could combine hands-on work with scientific principles. Dr. Keefer enjoys using the latest advancements in dental technology to help patients rebuild their smiles, improving not just their oral health but also their confidence and quality of life.

Outside of his work at Nuvia, Dr. Keefer enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, and being with friends and family. Two of his hobbies are playing golf and grilling.

Dr. Tan decided to go into dentistry because he wanted to make a lasting impact in the lives of patients.

Dr. Tan’s experience in dentistry spans over a decade. After completing both dental and medical school, he finished his education with residency. Now, as an oral surgeon at Nuvia in Indianapolis he loves being able to help patients get permanent teeth in 24 hours and working in a team-oriented environment.

It isn’t common for oral surgeons everywhere to be provided a CRNA when it comes to placing dental implants. However, like all oral surgeons at Nuvia, Dr. Tan is able to work with a CRNA who keeps patients comfortably sleeping so he is able to be fully focused on the dental implant procedure. This is done with both patient safety and implant quality in mind.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Tan grew up in Canada spending time in the mountains and going snowboarding. He loves watching movies with his wife and going to concerts.

Dr. Stone Thayer is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Indianapolis, IN. He trained at the University of Pennsylvania for dental school and completed medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern. He has been in the field for over 20 years.

‍

He was introduced to dentistry through his father and developed an interest in surgery during his training. That led him to oral and maxillofacial surgery, where he focuses on procedures involving the face, jaw, and mouth.

Outside of work, Dr. Thayer stays active. He enjoys running and working out. He also likes reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his family, especially fishing and being in nature.
