Replace missing teeth and enjoy improved oral health with dental implants in Indianapolis. You can get a new smile with permanent teeth in 24 hours at Nuvia Dental Implant center. Our highly experienced team does dental implants day in and day out so you know you’re in good hands at Nuvia.
The quality of dental implants and a new smile depends on more than surgery alone. At Nuvia in Indianapolis, three providers are on every case. An oral surgeon, a restorative dentist, and a CRNA — each with one defined role. The CRNA keeps you safe throughout the procedure. The surgeon focuses on precise placement. The restorative dentist — your implant dentist — builds permanent teeth designed to last. This team places implants every day, including complex cases other offices may have declined.
Dr. Stone Thayer is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Indianapolis, IN. He trained at the University of Pennsylvania for dental school and completed medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern. He has been in the field for over 20 years.
He was introduced to dentistry through his father and developed an interest in surgery during his training. That led him to oral and maxillofacial surgery, where he focuses on procedures involving the face, jaw, and mouth.
Dr. Thayer chose Nuvia because of how structured the process is. Each step is planned out ahead of time, and the patient stays at the center of it.
He also values the permanent teeth in 24 hours model. Patients come in, have surgery, and the next day they have a full set of teeth. That short timeline changes the traditional way patients go through treatment.
Outside of work, Dr. Thayer stays active. He enjoys running and working out. He also likes reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his family, especially fishing and being in nature.
Dr. Tan decided to go into dentistry because he wanted to make a lasting impact in the lives of patients.
Dr. Tan’s experience in dentistry spans over a decade. After completing both dental and medical school, he finished his education with residency. Now, as an oral surgeon at Nuvia in Indianapolis he loves being able to help patients get permanent teeth in 24 hours and working in a team-oriented environment.
It isn’t common for oral surgeons everywhere to be provided a CRNA when it comes to placing dental implants. However, like all oral surgeons at Nuvia, Dr. Tan is able to work with a CRNA who keeps patients comfortably sleeping so he is able to be fully focused on the dental implant procedure. This is done with both patient safety and implant quality in mind.
Dr. Tan grew up in Canada spending time in the mountains and going snowboarding. He loves watching movies with his wife and going to concerts.
Dr. Nicholas Keefer is a restorative doctor at Nuvia Dental Implant Center in Indianapolis, IN. His journey into dentistry began as a child, when frequent visits to the orthodontist and dentist planted seeds of interest in the field.
Later, his passion for both science and engineering led him to dentistry, where he could combine hands-on work with scientific principles. Dr. Keefer enjoys using the latest advancements in dental technology to help patients rebuild their smiles, improving not just their oral health but also their confidence and quality of life.
Knowing the frustrations that temporary teeth can bring patients, Dr. Keefer loves being part of the Nuvia team where the need for temporary teeth is eliminated by the permanent teeth in 24 hours process.
Rather than returning for multiple visits over what may be months in order to get permanent teeth, patients can get their permanent teeth 24 hours after the dental implant procedure.
Outside of his work at Nuvia, Dr. Keefer enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, and being with friends and family. Two of his hobbies are playing golf and grilling.
Dr. Santoro’s pursuit of a career in dentistry was largely inspired by the time he spent shadowing his grandfather who worked as a dentist in Florida.
His dental education started at Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health where he studied in both Kirksville and St Louis. He then completed 2 years of post graduate training at Southern Illinois University where he did both Advanced Education Residency and a Surgical and Prosthetic Fellowship.
When asked about why he’s so passionate about dentistry, Dr. Santoro shares that he loves the fulfillment of helping patients achieve their goals.
He also loves to work in a role where he has the opportunity to create a comfortable, positive environment for patients. He feels this is especially important as many patients he meets come having had less than ideal experiences at the dentist.
Dr. Santoro was drawn to Nuvia in Indianapolis by the opportunity to give patients a smile transformation with a 24 hour turnaround.
Nuvia’s revolutionary process and advanced technology allow Dr. Santoro to give patients a totally different experience than they would get with the traditional method of getting implants. Now his patients can receive their permanent teeth in 24 hours rather than waiting what could be up to 10+ months with temporary teeth.
When he isn’t working as a restorative dentist, Dr. Santoro likes to fish. Originally from Naples, FL, he loves to deepsea fish when he has the chance but also enjoys freshwater fishing in Indiana.
His other hobbies include watching college football, going to the gym, and walking his dog.
The traditional dental implant process can be outdated, inconvenient and long. Nuvia’s 24hr permanent teeth process is safe, convenient and fast.

Which is a better environment for your implants to heal—a flexible “healing” denture that can break, or Nuvia’s permanent teeth that can withstand up to 520+ pounds of force*? We place your permanent teeth the day after surgery so your implants get the stable support they need while your body naturally heals.
Replace missing teeth and enjoy improved oral health with dental implants in Indianapolis. You can get a new smile with permanent teeth in 24 hours at Nuvia Dental Implant center. Our highly experienced team does all-on-4® dental implants day in and day out so you know you’re in good hands at Nuvia.
You’ll find your center in the Lakeview Medical Plaza, at 91st Street and Meridian Street.
If you've been living with dentures, you already know the frustrations. They can slip at the worst moments. You may need adhesives just to get through a meal. And every few years, you're likely back getting them refitted or replaced. Add up the adjustments, adhesives, and repairs — dentures can easily cost more over time than most people expect.
When Indianapolis patients start looking at dentures vs dental implants, this is usually why. Full mouth dental implants are permanent. They're anchored into your jaw, so there's no slipping and no adhesive.
They don’t cover your palette meaning you can finally taste your food again and don’t need to worry about a denture triggering your gag reflex. They also help preserve your jawbone — something dentures can't do.
Despite the initial cost of dental implants appearing higher than dentures, for many patients implants can cost less over a lifetime than years of patching dentures together.
